About the Creator

Hi, I’m Jill — an Early Childhood Interventionist who’s spent over 25 years supporting families through their child’s earliest communication stages.

I created this checklist because most parents told me the same thing:  “I don’t know what my child should be doing and when in their communication.”

My goal is to give you a clear, parent-friendly way to understand your child’s communication from infancy through age 3 so you can feel confident, informed, and supported.

My own daughter had very few words at 18 months, and I remember the fear and confusion. A simple, clear tool like this would have saved me so much stress. I created this checklist so you don’t have to experience that same uncertainty.

You don’t need to guess or Google anymore—just do the checklist.
